Superintendent Screening Committee is formed

-A A +A

Committee will meet in closed session April 14

By Stevie Lowery

The Superintendent Search Screening Committee has officially been formed and the process to hire a new superintendent continues.

After accepting nominations, parents of the school district elected Pat Neal (a Lebanon Elementary School parent) to be the minority parent representative. Because the school system's minority student population is greater than eight percent, one of the members of the screening committee must be a minority parent.

The committee consists of the following individuals:

- Ed Hacker - board representative

- Brad Mattingly - parent representative

- Pat Neal - minority parent representative

- Marilu Farnham - teacher representative (Glasscock Elementary School)

- Hollie Buckman - teacher representative (Lebanon Middle School)

- Donna Royse - principal representative

- Scott Spalding - Director of Transportation and Maintenance
