Thursday, the Kentucky Supreme Court handed down a 6-1 decision upholding the City of Lebanon’s annexation of 415 acres of property on its southern border in 2006.
In the majority opinion, Chief Justice John D. Minton Jr. wrote that the case would be remanded to the trial court* (which deemed the annexation invalid) and that court should issue a summary judgment in favor of the city.
