Spring sports are underway, and going to the ballpark is a weekly, sometimes daily, activity for many local families, which means many meals are eaten at concession stands. Hot dogs, nachos, candy bars and other high-calorie, fattening foods are often on the menu. But, the Marion County Fitness and Nutrition Coalition is changing that locally, thanks to a recent $10,000 grant it received. A majority of the funds have been used to purchase glass front refrigerators for each of the concession stands at the baseball, softball and soccer fields and the Lebanon Aquatic Center.
