Last month's ice storm have teams playing a flurry of games over the next week.

The Knights will play four games in five days while the Lady Knights will play five games in six days.

The Lady Knights begin a grueling series of games with North Hardin (19-3) on Thursday night at North Hardin.

North Hardin is a top three team in the region and ranked 11th in the Litkenhous Ratings.

Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. at North Hardin on Thursday.

The next night the Knights and Lady Knights travel to border rival Washington County for a double header. In their last match up the Lady Knights quelled the Lady Commanderettes (5-14) 62-34 at the Roby Dome. Tip-off for their game is set for 6 p.m.

The Knights and Commanders (3-16) are tied in the season series at one game apiece. Both games were played at the Roby Dome. The Knights won the first round, winning easily 71-47. The Commanders outplayed the Knights in their own tournament in late December, stealing a win at the Roby Dome 65-58.

Washington County is currently the last place team in the Fifth Region. The Knights look to win the game and the season series. Tip-off is set for 7:30 at Washington County on Friday night.

On Saturday, the team's return home to host Green County in a double header to close out homecoming week.

The Knights kick off the double header, with tip-off slated for 6:30 p.m.

Green County (9-9) will be a tough, physical match up for the Knights. However, the Knights have recently shown their gritty side against similar teams.

The Lady Knights have a tough draw against Green County (19-5) as well. Green County is also a top team in the region but is not ranked in the Litkenhous Ratings top 20 teams. The Lady Knights (89.5) actually have a higher rating than the Lady Dragons (81.8).

Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. on Friday at the Roby Dome.

The Knights continue play for the third straight day on Sunday as they lace up against region foe Nelson County (11-8). The Knights will have to do better on the boards as Nelson County dominated the glass in their last match up on their way to a 54-53 thriller at the Roby Dome.

Tip-off is set for 4:30 p.m. at Nelson County on Sunday.

The Lady Knights get their shot at a Nelson County (19-5) team they beat 59-55 earlier in the season at the Roby Dome. The Lady Knights will have to contain Samantha Drake on her home floor if they want to sweep the season series.

Tip-off at Nelson County is set for 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

The Knights and Lady Knights return home on Tuesday to host John Hardin in a double header.

The Knights play the first game of the double header against John Hardin (17-5). Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Roby Dome.

The Lady Knights play the second half of the double header against John Hardin (3-14). Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Roby Dome.

Both head coaches are optimistic heading into this grueling stretch of games.

"This week here is not going to be easy. We'll just try to survive and win them. Win or lose we move on," Lady Knights Head Coach Trent Milby said.
