The Marion County Area Technology Center could soon have an engineer on staff.
Last week, the Marion County Board of Education was very close to approving the hiring of a temporary engineer for the tech center at a cost of $75,000. But, some unanswered questions regarding where exactly the funding for the position would come from led to the majority of the board voting to table the decision until its Feb. 8 meeting.
