The Marion County Knights tennis team competed in three matches this past week. Friday night, the Knights tennis team traveled to Danville and came away with a 7-2 win.
In singles competition, Noah Swencki defeated Sam Nelson, 8-1. Jacob Burdette won his match against Danville's Josh Joiner 8-1. Marion County's Alex Spalding beat Michael McChesney, 8-0. Durbin Richardson defeated Micheal Graves, 8-5, while Jesus Berlanga fell to Jacob Rankin, 8-6. Marion County had to forfeit the sixth singles match.
