Tennis players take honors

The Marion County Knights tennis team held its annual banquet Friday to award some of the players for their performances this past season.

For the Knights, five players took home honors. Alex Spalding received the 110 percent award, while Michael Spalding and Ryker Cassidy were each awarded the Most Improved Award. The doubles team of Noah Swencki and Jacob Burdette, who made it to state competition this season, received Most Valuable Players honors.
