Two Gravel Switch men and a Liberty man were indicted for manufacturing methamphetamine and a string of other charges in Marion Circuit Court recently.
Larry W. Garrett, 27, and Darrell L. Padgett, 41, both of 2397 Ben Minor Road in Gravel Switch and Holly M. Peck, 26, of 3988 West KY 70 in Liberty were all indicted for manufacturing methamphetamine, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance/methamphetamine (under two grams), unlawful possession of a precursor to methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).
According to the indictment, on or about July 23, Garrett, Padgett and Peck manufactured methamphetamine or with intent to manufacture methamphetamine possessed two or more chemicals or items of equipment for manufacturing methamphetamine, or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
The indictment also reads that they knowingly trafficked in a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and they unlawfully possessed a controlled substance that is classified as a schedule I or II, which is a narcotic.
Garrett was also charged with failure to wear seat belt, and second-degree persistent felony offender.
According to the indictment, he was over 21 and had been convicted of at least one felony after his 18th birthday. His bond was set at $25,000.
Padgett’s bond was also set at $25,000.
Peck was indicted for an additional charge, prescription controlled substance not in its original container. Her bond was set at $25,000.
In other court news:
- Susan M. Wright, 48, of 320 Three Pines Road in Lebanon was indicted for three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment.
According to the indictment, on or about June 15, Wright manifested extreme indifference to the value of human life by engaging in conduct that created a substantial risk of danger or death or serious injury to three other people.
Her bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000 with the condition that she has no contact with Kayla Wohner.
- George Wesley Upton, 33, of Marion Adjustment Center in St. Mary was indicted for second-degree escape and first-degree persistent felony offender.
According to the indictment, on or about May 29, Upton escaped from the custody of Marion Adjustment Center after he had been convicted of a felony. The indictment also reads that he was over 21 and had been convicted of at least two felonies after his 18th birthday.
No bond was set in this case.
- Savannah N. Nall, 21, of 75 Lanham Lane in Island was indicted for first-degree promoting contraband and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
According to the indictment, on or about May 6, Nall introduced dangerous contraband into a detention facility, or being housed in a detention facility, she made, obtained or possessed dangerous contraband or she aided, abetted or counseled another in said act. The indictment also reads that she possessed a schedule I or II controlled substance, which is a narcotic.
Her bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000 with the conditions of monitored conditional release and that she has not contact with Marion Adjustment Center.
- Candace Goode, 31, of 550 Eastland Drive in Lebanon was indicted for first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence.
According to the indictment, on or about May 25, Goode possessed a schedule I or II controlled substance, which is a narcotic.
Her bond was set at 10 percent of $15,000 with the condition that she uses no drugs or alcohol.
- Thomas L. Wilson, 32, of 540 Peyton Well Road in Stanford was indicted for receiving stolen property over $500 but less than $10,000, operating on a suspended or revoked license, reckless driving, speeding 16 miles per hour over the limit, and second-degree persistent felony offender.
According to the indictment, on or about July 9, Wilson received, retained or disposed of movable property of another knowing it had been stolen or having reason to believe it had been stolen, or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
His bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000 with the condition that he has no contact with the owner of vehicle.
- Amanda J. Coleman, 27, of 540 Peyton Well Road in Stanford was indicted for receiving stolen property over $500 but less than $10,000, operating on a suspended or revoked license, reckless driving, speeding 16 miles per hour over the limit, and second-degree persistent felony offender.
According to the indictment, on or about July 9, Wilson received, retained or disposed of movable property of another knowing it had been stolen or having reason to believe it had been stolen, or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
Her bond was set at $1,000 with the condition that she has no contact with the owner of vehicle.
- Paula D. Robertson, 51, of 513 Joy Avenue in Louisville was indicted for first-degree promoting contraband, tampering with physical evidence, use or possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, and second-degree persistent felony offender.
According to the indictment, on or about May 6, Robertson introduced dangerous contraband into a detention facility or, being housed in a detention facility, she made, obtained or possessed dangerous contraband or she aided, abetted or counseled another in said act. The indictment also reads that she was over 21 and has been convicted of at least one felony after her 18th birthday.
Her bond was set at 10 percent of $10,000 with the conditions that she has no contact with Marion Adjustment Center, that she is under monitored conditional release and that she undergoes weekly drug tests.
- Brian K. Wright, 29, of Howard Avenue Lot #8 in Lebanon was indicted for receiving stolen property over $500 but less than $10,000.
According to the indictment, on or about July 28, Wright received, retained or disposed of movable property of another knowing it had been stolen or having reason to believe it had been stolen, or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
His bond was set at 10 percent of $5,000 with the condition that he has no contact with the complaining witness.
- James P. Mills, 43, of 102 Holly Hill in Lebanon was indicted for first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and third-degree possession of a controlled substance.
According to the indictment, on or about May 25, Mills unlawfully possessed a controlled substance that is classified as a schedule I or II, which is a narcotic, or aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
His bond was set at $250 with the condition that he uses no drug or alcohol.
