Today is the final day to request mail-in absentee ballot

Tuesday, Oct. 30, is the last day to request a mail-in absentee ballot for the Nov. 6 election.

There is an exception for military personnel. Members of the Armed Forces who learn between Oct. 30 and Nov. 5 that they will be confined to a military base will be allowed to request an absentee ballot.

Today is also the last day for someone who previously requested an absentee ballot to cancel that ballot if they know they will be able to vote in person. These voters will need to return the ballot they had requested by today to the Marion County Clerk's Office.
