Editor's note: On March 7, the Marion County Fiscal Court approved allowing Magistrates Larry Caldwell, John Arthur Elder III and Steve Masterson to contribute $200 each toward the cost of the bus trip.
Marion County fans who would like to watch Lady Knights senior Makayla Epps play in the 2013 McDonald’s All-American game have an opportunity to sign up for an travel package that includes a bus trip, a ticket to the game, and an overnight hotel stay.
The deadline to sign up for the bus trip has been extended until March 9.
The game is being played April 3 at the United Center in Chicago.
The bus will leave from Marion County High School, 735 E. Main Street, on April 3 and return to Lebanon on April 4. Please note that the high school is not involved in organizing this trip. It will only serve as the pick up point for the bus.

The ride organizers must sign a contract and put down a $100 deposit to reserve a 55-passenger bus. At least 45 people must sign up in order for the bus to run.
The package will include transportation, second-level tickets to the game, and lodging at the Fairfield Inn in downtown Chicago (two blocks from the United Center).
If 45 people sign up, pricing will be as follows:
- Four people sharing a room would pay $225 each
- Three people sharing a room would pay $250 each.
- Two people sharing a room would pay $275 each.
- One person in a room would pay $375.
If 50 people sign up, pricing will be as follows:
- Four people sharing a room would pay $200 each.
- Three people sharing a room would pay $225 each.
- Two people sharing a room would pay $265 each.
- One person in a room would pay $365.

If too few people sign up to reserve a bus, some people may organizing a car pool to the game.
