The Lebanon Tourist and Convention Commission and the Lebanon City Council are both scheduled to meet Monday, Feb. 13.
The tourist commission will meet at 3:30 p.m. in Room 300 of the Centre Square Convention Center. This will also be the first meeting for new Lebanon Tourist Executive Director Nicky Reynolds.
The agenda for the commission meeting includes:
- A delegation from Nancy Miles and Martha Potter on behalf of the Marion County Quilters.
- Minutes of last month's meeting.
- Treasurer's report and the executive director's report.
- New business: lease agreement with the City of Lebanon, and amendment to the Oct. 20 minutes, appointment of check-signing commissioners, bourbon country.
- Executive session (if needed).
City Council
The Lebanon City Council is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. at city hall, 118 S. Proctor Knott Avenue.
The agenda includes:
- Recognition of Paige Wilson, the 2012 Kentucky Distinguished Young Woman.
- Susan Hardin on behalf of the American Red Cross
- Jule Flores of Cake and Crumb regarding 10-minute parking on Main Street
- The annual report of the Marion County Economic Development Office.
- Minutes of previous meetings
- Payment of bills
- Department reports
- Old business
- New business: Participation in Kentucky Main Street program, sewer facilities plan update, approval to purchase a street sweeper, approval of the first reading of an ordinance regarding sewer pretreatment regulations.
