Tourist commission to meet Nov. 23

The Lebanon Tourist and Convention Commission has scheduled a special-called meeting at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, in Room 300 of the Centre Square Convention Center.

The commission has scheduled an executive session under Chapter 61.810(f) of the Kentucky Revised Statutes. This section deals with the possible hiring, firing or discipline of an employee. The commission has been searching for a new executive director since August when the former director, Chris Hamilton, accepted a position with the Aurora Area Convention and Visitors Bureau in Illinois.
