Track teams win at home

Marion County High School hosted a track meet April 17, and the Knights and Lady Knights fared well.
"For the first time all year it was a solid effort by all the kids across the board," Brown said. "We still have a few kinks to work out, but it is getting there. We had a little more competition at this meet, seven other schools, and I thought we responded to that. We now need to focus on the next two weeks. I am really looking forward to the next three weeks."

Tomorrow the team will host the Heartland Conference before heading to Boyle County on Friday.

Middle school track
The Marion County Middle School track team was in action at a meet at Marion County High School Monday of last week. The teams performed well, and gathered several points.
"We had a lot of wins and top finishes across the board," Head Coach Keith Brown said. "The boys team had a few that did not compete due to little league baseball."
