Two Knights lead the state in stats

Two Marion County High School boy's basketball players are lighting up the state in the scoring column.

Senior Austin Spalding is the ninth ranked leading scorer in the state (19.7 points per game) while junior Kendrick Knopp ranks first among top three point shooters (45.7 percent) in the state.

As a team, Marion County ranks 10th in scoring with 70.4 points per game. They also rank 15th in overall shooting at 45.2 percent field goal percentage and fifth in three point shooting at 38.4 percent.
