American Legion Post 49 is hosting a Veterans Day program at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at the Lebanon National Cemetery. The guest speaker at this year's program is Jack Pattie.
Pattie is a former member of the Florida National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserve. Since 1975, he has hosted a news and talk radio show on WVLK in Lexington. Last year, the Kentucky Broadcasters Association presented the Golden Microphone Award to him. He also received the media award from the Daughters of the American Revolution in 2007.
