Beginning with the 1983 football season, Charles Lancaster Sr. began a career that will now enter its 30th season beginning in August of this year. Lancaster started calling football games at Marion County High School with that unique deep voice that we have all become accustomed to throughout the years.
"I try to keep an even keel in my tone, no matter what the situation is on the field," he said.
For all that have ever attended a football game that Lancaster has called, he seems to have perfected that art.
