The West Marion Elementary School chorus performed on Nov. 3, at Centre Square during the New Harmonies-Celebrating American Roots Music, Smithsonian Exhibit. The three different songs the students sang for the audience were “You Can’t Stop the Beat”, “Seventy-Six Trombones” and “Seasons of Love.” The students put on an outstanding show for their family and community members in attendance. West Marion Elementary School is very thankful to all of the parents, community members and especially the individuals who helped bring the exhibit to Lebanon. This community is blessed to have so many people share their talents and love for the arts during this exhibit. The beautiful sounds of instruments being played, artists singing as well as aesthetic artwork being displayed, shows everyone that Marion County truly loves its related arts.
