Game Warden Bradley J. McCoy was recognized on October 21, 2013 in Oklahoma City, Okla., as Kentucky’s 2012 Officer of the Year. This peer nominated award is given each year to the officer who best represents the qualities of dedication to work and the community. McCoy was presented the award along with officers from Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Texas and Oklahoma during the annual ceremony. McCoy was awarded the honor based upon his exemplary work in conservation and his community service in his patrol area. Officer McCoy is assigned to Washington and Marion Counties in Central Kentucky.
