The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for central Kentucky, including Marion County, through 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3. An low pressure area is moving through Indiana and Ohio and will bring snow to the region through this afternoon. Temperatures will drop as a cold front moves in, and wind chills could be cause temperatures to feel like zero degress Fahrenheit (-17.8 Celsius) or below this evening. Snow showers this afternoon will generally bring an additional inch of snow or less, although some areas could see two inches or more.
