Though the rain would cut them short, Kroger hosted a softball tournament to benefit Working the Puzzle for Autism on July 19.
Kayla Thompson, who organized the event, said that despite the rain, the tournament went well.
“We all work at Kroger and we like to do stuff for the community,” Thompson said. “And we thought this would be a good way you know, to get the community together and come out to support a good cause.”
She shared her appreciation for Lisa Nally-Martin for all the hard work she does for Working the Puzzle for Autism.
