A wreck at Main Street and Third Street in Danville sent a Kentucky School for the Deaf student from Marion County and a Liberty man to the hospital Friday morning.
The wreck occurred around 7:45 a.m., when Daniel Cheatham, 39 of Liberty, was traveling northbound on South Third Street and allegedly ran the red light at the intersection with Main Street, colliding with a Marion County school bus, which was transporting a juvenile and three adult passengers to KSD.
The juvenile was transported to Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center for precautionary measures, according to police.
Cheatham was treated on the scene, and then transported to EMRMC. There is no word on his condition at this time.
According to Marion County Superintendent Taylora Schlosser, the student, nor the bus driver or the other passengers, were injured. There was also minimal damage to the bumper of the bus, she said.
