    Live Nativity
    Pleasant Valley Christian Church, Pleasant Valley Road, Bradfordsville, will have a live depicting of the Nativity scene on the front lawn on Thursday, Dec. 21 from 5:30 till 7:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

    Christmas Eve service
    First Christian Church will a have a short Christmas Eve service at 5:30 p.m.

  • Christmas program will be held Sunday

    On Sunday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m. at Lebanon Baptist Church, the combined choirs of Stewart’s Creek Baptist Church and Lebanon Baptist Church will present the Christmas program entitled “How Should a King Come?”
    Also joining the choirs are orchestra members from Campbellsville University. Dr. J. Robert Gaddis, minister of music at Lebanon Baptist Church and music professor emeritus at Campbellsville University, will conduct the program.

    Prayer workshop
    Contemplative Outreach of Kentucky is offering a workshop, Introduction to Centering Prayer, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 26, at St. Catharine Motherhouse (two miles west of Springfield). Centering Prayer is a method of prayer guiding us into our inner room to become more aware of God’s presence within us. It is grounded in the Christian tradition and open to all Christians. Register by calling Sr. Mary Otho Ballard, OP, 859-481-6238 or email lamondaop@gmail.com.
