    First Baptist Church on N. Depot Street and Rev. Tommy Calhoun will hold a Pastor’s 24 Appreciation at 11 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11. Guest speaker will be Rev. William Stocker, writer of the American Baptist Paper Sunday School Lesson in Louisville.

  • SCC to host ‘Catholics at the Capitol’

    St. Catharine College will host “Catholics at the Capitol” Saturday Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Pettus Auditorium in the Richard S. Hamilton Health and Science Building. Catholics and other concerned citizens are invited to the event, which will address the Catholic position of key issues coming before the Kentucky General Assembly and the Catholic social teachings and values underlying these positions.

    Grace Baptist Church Revival
    Grace Baptist Church will be hosting a revival Nov. 4-7. Times will be as follows: 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 4; 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 5; 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 6; 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7. There will be special singing. Also, if transportation is needed call (270) 692-2150 or 699-9341. A nursery will also be provided. The church is located at 350 East Main Street in Lebanon. The pastor is Bro. Clellan Hays.

    First Baptist Church on N. Depot Street in Lebanon will have a Halloween Trunk A Treat from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27 in the church parking lot.

    Dave's words were my signal: Cutting my eyes towards him as he walked to his car, I turned on the headlights in the early morning dawn, put the U-Haul in gear, and we all - Dave, Lori, Madi, and I - headed south, caravan style.

    A shoebox can do a lot more than hold shoes. For individuals and churches who participate in Operation Christmas Child, those boxes become a way to share faith and love with children worldwide.
