    First Baptist Church, N. Depot St., Lebanon, will host their 2nd Annual Back-to-School Giveaway Saturday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. till noon. The event is sponsored by the women’s ministry.

    Back-to-school fun day
    Open Arms Community Church is sponsoring a fun day of water slides, slip ‘n slide, free food and drinks on church land at 2205 Danville Road, Lebanon. It will be held from 11 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6. Free school supplies will be given away while supplies last.

    Central Kentucky Lifeline Program
    Marion County will soon become the newest community to begin the Central Kentucky Lifeline program, whose goal is to bring healing to the broken hearted and freedom to those held captive by substance or behavior addictions and other life-controlling issues.
    The community is invited to get involved in Lifeline’s small-group community ministry program. The group plans to meet at noon, Friday, July 29, at the Marion County Judicial Center. Lunch will be provided.
