• Feeding ministry starts Sept. 26

    Tucker Chapel Baptist Church has announced that its new feeding ministry begins Wednesday, Sept. 26. The ministry will be held from 6-9 p.m. at the VFW Building on N. College Street in Lebanon.
    The ministry is based on Matthew 25:35-36: “For I was hungered, and ye gave me meat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in. Naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick , and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me.”

  • Two bishops to honor Sisters of Loretto

    Bishop William F. Medley of the Diocese of Owensboro and Bishop Charles “Chuck” Thompson of the Diocese of Evansville, Ind., will be celebrating a special Mass at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, at St. Francis of Assisi in honor of the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Sisters of Loretto. A reception will take place in the parish hall after the Mass.

  • Hosparus honors Drs. Bentley and Rogers at farewell luncheons in Campbellsville

    Along with busy practices, Drs. Eric Bentley and Tom Rogers also found time to serve as associate medical directors at Hosparus Central Kentucky. Dr. Bentley joined Hosparus in 1993 and Dr. Rogers joined the organization in 2004. The two recently left Hosparus to concentrate efforts on their practices. To show appreciation for Drs. Bentley and Rogers' tireless service on behalf of Hosparus patients and families, the organization hosted luncheons to thank and honor the doctors.
