    World Day of Prayer
    Lebanon United Methodist Church invites everyone to participate in World Day of Prayer on Friday, March 1. The church will be opened from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. for anyone who would like to come and pray in the quiet of the church. The theme chosen for this year is, “I was a Stranger and You Welcomed Me” taken from the 25th chapter of the Gospel of Matthew. We hope you will take a few moments during the day to join us in thoughtful prayer.

    The Golden Girls of Gospel to perform at Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church
    The Golden Girls of Gospel, a ladies close-harmony gospel group originating in Frankfort, will be singing at Muldraugh Hill Baptist Church at 7 p.m., Sunday Feb. 24. The “Girls” started singing together a few years ago as teenagers and are back together again sharing their infectious style of music that celebrates the love of God for His people.     High school come and see weekend
    The Sisters of St. Benedict in Ferdinand, Ind. are holding a come and see event for high school girls, freshmen to seniors Feb. 15-17. This is a chance to learn what it is like to be a nun in today’s world. Pray, eat and recreate with the sisters.     Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Gravel Switch will have a revival Feb. 10-13. Nightly revival will be at 7 p.m. Sunday sermon will be at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. with special music by Oneida Baptist School Choir. There will be a potluck meal after the Sunday morning service. Speaker will be Bro. Dennis Hisle, pastor at Silver Creek Baptist Church. Music will be provided by Bro. Morris Trayner, pastor at Gilberts Creek Baptist Church. There will be special singing at each service.
