Did you know that April 28 – May 5 is Soil Stewardship week? The observance of Soil Stewardship week has been around for 60 years now and it is one of the world’s largest conservation-related observances.
The purpose of this week is to recognize what good things we have to be thankful for. When this week of recognition was organized in 1952, they had just begun to recover from one of the greatest natural disasters to strike the Midwest – The Dust Bowl.
