    St. Joe Prep Alumni
    St. Joe Prep Alumni Association will have their annual Fall Cook In on Thursday, Oct. 18 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Bardstown. Social hour starts at 5 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. Meat and drinks will be furnished. Annual meeting will follow dinner. All undergraduates and friends of St. Joe are welcomed.     Monday, Oct. 15: Potato soup, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, four celery and carrot sticks, orange slices, bread.
    Tuesday, Oct. 16: Beef roast, mashed potatoes, squash/tomato casserole, raisins, pineapple chunks, roll, margarine.
    Wednesday, Oct. 17: hamburger, relish plate, potato salad, pork and beans, banana, bread.
    Thursday, Oct. 18: Brown bag.
    Friday, Oct. 19: Vegetable soup w/beef, pimento cheese sandwich, bread, mandarin oranges, yellow sheet cake, whipped topping.

  • Wheatleys celebrate 50 years

     

    Philip and Lorene Wheatley of Springfield celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 8, 2012.
    A celebratory Mass was given by Fr. Chris Allegra at Holy Trinity Church. A private dinner followed with immediate family, where their children and their spouses presented them with a cruise to the Bahamas.

    Matthew and Jessie Browning of Lebanon announce the birth of a 6-pound, 5-ounce daughter, Sydney Elizabeth Browning, born Aug. 29, 2012, at Spring View Hospital, Lebanon.
    Maternal grandparents are Paul and Jeannie Morris of Raywick. Paternal grandparents are Kenny and Jeannie Browning of Lebanon. Great-grandmother is Hazel O’Bryan of New Haven.
