Roger and Jeanette Hughes will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 29, 2012. They were married Sept. 29, 1962 at Holy Name of Mary Church, Calvary.
Mrs. Hughes is the former Jeanette Mattingly. She was a 21-year employee at Jane and Linda Sportswear and retired in 1991.
Mr. Hughes was a 32-year employee at G.E. in Louisville and retired in 1997.
The couple has two sons, James Hughes Jr. and Douglas Hughes, and two daughters, Janelle O’Daniel and Robin Thomas, and eight grandchildren.
John and Gloria Masterson of Lebanon and Mike Clark of Shepherdsville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Trina Renee Clark, to David James Martin, son of Donna Martin of Godfrey, Ill.
Clark is a graduate of St. Catharine College and employed with Total System Services, Inc. of Columbus, Ga.
Martin is in the United States Army and is stationed at Fort Benning, Ga.
A private ceremony will be held at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 27, 2012, in Fort Benning, Ga.

Kyle Evans Burkhead and Patricia Diane Weakley announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
Weakley is the daughter of Diane and Donnie Morgeson of Lebanon and the late Clarence Weakley.
Burkhead is the son of Ethelynn Angulo of Lexington and Bruce and Kay Burkhead of Springfield.
The wedding is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, at Mackville Baptist Church.
A reception will follow at the Marion County Sportsmanís Club off of Campbellsville Highway.
