    Lyvers and Simpson
    The Lyvers and Simpson family reunion will be held Saturday, Sept. 10, at 4 p.m. at Hagan Schoolhouse Road, Loretto.

    Raywick grade school

    The first ever Raywick grade school reunion will be held Saturday, Sept. 17 at Raywick City Park. Mass will be held at 4 p.m. at St. Francis Xavier Church. A meal and music will follow the Mass. The Cattleman’s Association will provide the food. There is a cost.

    Wednesday, Sept. 7: baked ham, baked sweet potato, black-eyed peas, mandarin oranges, and cornbread.
    Thursday, Sept. 8: closed.
    Friday, Sept. 9: salmon patty, baby lima beans, coleslaw, brownie, and cornbread.
    Monday, Sept. 12: meatloaf, roasted potatoes and carrots, fruit cup, and whole wheat bread.
    Tuesday, Sept. 13: layered salad with turkey and peas, crackers, chocolate pudding, and raisins.
    Wednesday, Sept. 14: hot beef sandwich, gravy, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, congeal strawberry dessert, and whole wheat bread.

  • Brockman and Spalding will marry Sept. 17


    Anita Brockman announces the forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Casey Irene Brockman, to Joseph Frank Spalding, son of Joe and Colleen Spalding.
    Brockman is the daughter of the late Mark Brockman.
    The wedding will take place at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at Sportsman’s Lake. A reception will follow at Bradfordsville School.
    All friends and relatives are invited to attend.

  • 8-31-16 Reunions

    The Mullins Family will host a reunion Saturday, Sept. 3 at noon. It will be held at Graham Memorial Park at the pavilion beside the Aquatic Center. It will be potluck and this year’s cooking contest will consist of salads. For more details, contact Margaret Osborne at 502-468-4658.

  • Hill and Thompson will marry Sept. 10


    Sue Ann and Timmy Hill of Springfield announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Natasha Hill, to Justin Thompson, son of Rod and Pam Thompson of Willisburg.
    Hill is a graduate of Kentucky State University with her ADN. She is employed with Bardstown Ambulatory Care.
    Thompson is a graduate of Midway College with a major in business administration and a minor in accounting. He is employed with IPM in Lexington.
    The wedding will be at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 10, 2016, at the Thompson’s residence.

    Monday, Aug. 29: Baked ham baked beans, cauliflower w/cheese, ambrosia, and whole wheat bread.
    Tuesday, Aug. 30: Beef stew, salad, coleslaw, green peas, pineapple slices, and whole wheat roll.
    Wednesday, Aug. 31: Chicken salad on lettuce, fresh grapes, tomato slices, butterscotch pudding, and whole wheat bun.
    All meals are served with skim milk.
