  • Leake and McGaw will marry June 10

     

    Joey and Tammy Leake of Lebanon announce the forthcoming wedding of their daughter, Courtney Jo Leake to Samuel James McGaw, son of David and Stephanie McGaw of Brentwood, Tennessee.
    Leake and McGaw are both graduates of Western Kentucky University. Leake works in clinical research and McGaw is a sports editor. They currently reside in Nashville, Tennessee.
    The wedding will take place at 5 p.m. June 10, 2017, at Highland Stables in Bowling Green.
    Invitations have been sent.

  • Hosparus needs volunteers

    Hosparus Health of Green River needs volunteers in Adair, Green, Marion, Taylor and Washington counties and will offer a free training session from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14 (lunch provided), at its Campbellsville office, 295 Campbellsville Bypass (behind Coltons).

    Monday, May 15: tomato chicken parmesan, spaghetti noodles, cucumber salad, wheat roll, and peach cobbler.
    Tuesday, May 16: layered salad with turkey and peas, crackers, chocolate pudding, and raisins.
    Wednesday, May 17: hamburger, relish plate, potato salad, pork and beans, banana, and wheat bun.
    Thursday, May 18: baked chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and banana pudding.
    Friday, baked spaghetti, broccoli salad, mandarin oranges, and garlic breadstick.
    All meals are served with skim milk.
    Lebanon center is closed on Thursdays.

  • MD2KY conference will be June 22-25

    The 2017 Maryland to Kentucky and Beyond Genealogy Conference is June 22-25 at Brescia University in Owensboro.  Registration, orientation and keynote speaker presentation are on Thursday. Choose from 40 class sessions, genealogy sharing and vendors on Friday and Saturday (Saturday luncheon and banquet); concludes with Sunday Mass.
