Josh and Jessica Wise of Lebanon announce the birth of a 7-pound, 13-ounce daughter, Abbigayle Renee Wise, born February 26, 2014, at Spring View Hospital, Lebanon.
Maternal grandparents are Troy and Barbara Crawford of Lebanon. Paternal grandparents are Stewart and Juanita Wise and Sheila and Gordon Caldwell, all of Campbellsville. Great-grandparents are Bonnie McCarty of Danville and Pauline Wise and Sandy Rainwater, both of Campbellsville. Great-great-grandmother is Helen Cook of Lebanon.
Abbigayle has two brothers, Hunter and Nicholas.
Kentucky Classic ARTS has launched a season of dance classes for all ages at the Cultural and Fine Arts Building of Centre Square. Choreographers from UK and WKU will be teaching jazz, tap, ballet and salsa beginning March 25. With this expanded offering, the Cultural and Fine Arts Building of Centre Square (which also houses Angelic Hall) is truly becoming the hub for performing arts that its founders hoped it would become when it was first opened in July of 2009.
On Jan. 22, Girls on the Run International announced the Coach of the Year Award, which is an annual award that honors Girls on the Run coaches throughout the country. Coaches are nominated by girls who express why they think their coach should win through writing, coloring, drawing, painting, or bedazzling the nomination form. Stevie Lowery, coach and organizer for the Marion County Girls on the Run program, was named a runner up. She was nominated by Ebony Dotson, who was a participant in Girls on the Run at Lebanon Elementary School.
