Maternal grandparents are Brian and Kristy Smith of Lebanon and the late Steven E. Fisher.
Paternal grandparents are Barry and Lisa Spalding of Lebanon.
Great-grandparents are Mike and JoAnn Spalding, Frances and Ernest Fisher and Carl and Mary K. Brown, all of Lebanon and Bonnie and Ronnie Smith of Springfield.
Kim and Ed Miller of Danville announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Christina, to Andrew Kern, son of Greg and Jackie Kern of Lebanon.
Miller is a 2006 graduate of Boyle County High and 2010 graduate of Campbellsville University. She is employed at Campbellsville University Office of University Communications.
Kern is a 2006 graduate of Marion County High and expected to graduate from Murray State University in 2011.
The wedding is set for 2:06 p.m. May 21, 2011 in Danville.
Mr. and Mrs. D.H. Buckler Jr. will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on April 23, 2011. Mrs. Buckler was the former Jeanne Howard.
The couple was married at St. Augustine Church April 23, 1946.
They have six children: Richard Buckler, John Buckler, Margaret Blanford, Marian Caldwell, Mary Ellen Wright and Tony Buckler; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Andrew and Margaret Grundy celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past week with family and a few close friends.
Mrs. Grundy is the former Margaret Carter LaRue.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Patrick Portman of Bards-town will celebrate their 50-year anniversary Friday, April 15, 2011. Shirley is the former Shirley Faye Nally of Loretto.
The couple was married at Holy Cross Church April 15, 1961.
They have three children, Joe Portman, Suzanne Farnsworth and Faye Brussell; and seven grandchildren.
A party, attended by many friends and family members, was held in their honor at The Loft in Bardstown on April 9.
