    Zachary D. Adams celebrated his 4th birthday Oct. 9, 2012. He is the son of Samantha and John Adams of Lebanon. Grandparents are Chuck Elder of Lebanon and the late Brenda Elder, Tonya Claypool of Lebanon and Roger Followay of Bardstown. Great-grandmother is Mary Catherine Adams of Lebanon.
    Zachary has four brothers and sisters, Bray, Chaedyn, John and Keke.

    St. Joe Prep Alumni Association will have their annual Fall Cook In on Thursday, Oct. 18 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Bardstown. Social hour starts at 5 p.m. with dinner at 6 p.m. Meat and drinks will be furnished. Annual meeting will follow dinner. All undergraduates and friends of St. Joe are welcomed.   • Wheatleys celebrate 50 years


    Philip and Lorene Wheatley of Springfield celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 8, 2012.
    A celebratory Mass was given by Fr. Chris Allegra at Holy Trinity Church. A private dinner followed with immediate family, where their children and their spouses presented them with a cruise to the Bahamas.
