    Tuesday, Nov. 27: Beef roast, mashed potatoes, squash/tomato casserole, raisins, pineapple chunks, roll.
    Wednesday, Nov. 28: Hamburger, relish plate, potato salad, pork and beans, banana.
    Thursday, Nov. 29: Brown bag.
    Friday, Nov. 30: Vegetable soup w/beef, half pimento cheese sandwich, mandarin oranges, yellow sheet cake, whipped topping.

  • 11-21-12 Birth Announcement

    James Lee Mattingly and Casey Jo Walls announce the birth of a 7-pound, 3-ounce daughter, Skylar Jo Mattingly, born Oct. 24, 2012, at Spring View Hospital, Lebanon.
    Maternal grandparents are Gary and Wanda Walls of Lebanon. Paternal grandparents are Mary Denise Mattingly of Botland and O’Dell Mattingly of Lebanon Great-grandparents are Sally and Orville Walls and James and Mattie Mattingly, all of Lebanon, Billy and Bonnie Wade of Bardstown, Elizabeth Hutchins of Holy Cross.

  • Beach is homecoming candidate


    Madison Beach of Lebanon, the daughter of Troy Beach and Fay Beach, was one of 22 candidates for 2012 Homecoming Queen at Western Kentucky Univesrity. She is a biology and chemistry major and was sponsored by Phi Mu, Farmhouse, Phi Beta Sigma and Kappa Sigma. Homecoming was Oct. 20.

  • Couple celebrates 63 years together


    Paul and Sarah Cox of Lebanon celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary recently. They were married in Indiana on Aug. 6, 1949.
    Sarah is the former Sarah Riley. They are retired and have four children, Pat Miller, Mary “Sweetie” Drury, Rick Cox and John Cox, seven grandchildren, and two-great-grandchildren.

    Class of 1982
    The Marion County High School Class of 1982 will have their 30-year reunion from 7 p.m. till 1 a.m.  Saturday Nov. 24, at McB’s, formerly Big Jim’s, 212 W. Main Street, Lebanon. Band will be South 49. You can socialize and eat from 7-9 p.m. before the band starts. No formal invitations have been sent.
