Cliff and Sarah Thomas of Loretto announce the birth of a 9-pound, 12.8-ounce daughter, Ansley Cambron Thomas, born March 2, 2011.
Maternal grandparents are Stanley and Phyllis Cambron.
Paternal grandparents are Bobby and Joanne Thomas.
Ansley has one brother, Ian, and one sister, McKenna.

Michael and Daniel Abell celebrated their 2nd birthday Feb. 28, 2011. They are the sons of Stephen and Jill Abell of Lebanon. Grandparents are Tommy and Judy Blandford of Raywick and Alice Abell of Lebanon and the late Leo Abell. They have one brother, Thomas, and one sister, Sarah.

Contemplative Prayer Day
St. Catharine Motherhouse (Hwy #150 west of Springfield) will hold its monthly Contemplative Prayer Day from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday,  March 19. The day includes centering prayer, meditative walks, silence, a presentation on “Mysticism as Growth in Human Consciousness” by Sr. Marilyn King, RSM  discussion on the presentation, personal prayer and a blessing. Bring bag lunch.  Drinks provided.
