James Gerald “Jerry” Stine, 78, Lebanon, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012 at the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center, Lexington.
Born on Jan. 15, 1934 in Marion County, Stine was a U.S. Navy veteran, and a retired barber, having worked in the business for 42 years. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman and was one who loved life.

James  “Buddy”  Lanham, 67, Gravel Switch, died Monday, April 30, 2012 at the Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington.
Born May 23, 1944 in Nelson County, Lanham was  retired  from the CSX Railroad Company and was a member of the Beechfork Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, John Owen and Virginia Mae Smothers Lanham.
