Marion County Superintendent Taylora Schlosser is taking a medical leave of absence.
DeLane Pinkston, the chairman of the Marion County Board of Education, opened the board's Sept. 23 meeting at St. Charles Middle School with an announcement.
"You may have noticed Ms. Schlosser is not here tonight. She has requested a medical leave of absence for the next four weeks. That's all I'm able to say at this time," Pinkston said.
The board approved the medical leave with a 3-0 vote.
