Instead of attending his high school graduation today, Saturday, May 21, Charles E. Spurlock, 18, of Raywick is behind bars after being arrested for allegedly raping a 14-year-old female.
Spurlock has been charged with first-degree rape and first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor (illegal sex act) under 16 years of age.
He’s currently being held in the Marion County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash bond.
He’s scheduled to be in court Monday, May 23.
Lebanon Police Officer Scott Mattingly was the arresting officer.
