     The Marion County Board of Education will hold a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, at Marion County High School.

  • 4-H Green Hornets hold first meeting

    Green Hornets, Mrs. Higdon’s 5th grade – St. Augustine School.
    Today, Jan. 2, 2015 the Green Hornets had their first meeting. They started off by calling roll and they responded with their favorite song.

  • Reed named to dean's list

    Alan Reed of Lebanon has been named to the dean’s list at Morehead State University for the fall 2014 semester.
    To be eligible for dean’s list, a student must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).

  • Students named to honors lists

    The following Western Kentucky University students were named to the dean’s and president’s lists for the fall 2014 semester. Full-time undergraduate students with a semester grade-point average of 3.4 to 3.79 are named to the dean’s list. Students with a GPA of 3.8 to 4.0 are named to the president’s list. Their names are marked with an asterisk (*).
