Glasscock Elementary School announced their 2015-2016 award recipients. They are:

The Marion County High School Based Decision-Making Council is scheduled to decide what candidates they want to interview for the vacant principal position today, June 8.
The council is expected to make a decision by June 30.
The Marion County Public School System is currently searching for both a high school principal and an assistant high school principal.

The fate of the recallable nickel could lie in the hands of voters for a second time in eight years after Marion County Clerk Chad Mattingly announced last week that he’s determined the petition protesting the recallable nickel to be “sufficient.”
