    Monday, Jan. 27: Pancake and sausage on a stick w/maple syrup and toast or assorted cereal and toast, peaches, variety of juice, milk.
    Tuesday, Jan. 28: Granola breakfast cookie and two toast or assorted cereal and two toast, mandarin oranges, variety of juice, milk.
    Wednesday, Jan. 29: Scrambled eggs and two toast or assorted cereal and two toast, banana, variety of juice, milk.
    Thursday, Jan. 30: Milk gravy and biscuit or cereal and toast, applesauce, variety of juice, milk.

  • Kindergarten, preschool registration is Friday

    Marion County Public Schools kindergarten and preschool registration will be held at all elementary schools on Friday, Jan. 24, 2014 from 12-6 p.m.
    (*If school is canceled on this day, registration will then be moved to Friday, Jan. 31, from 12-6 p.m.)
    Registration paperwork will be at the elementary school in the district in which you reside. Children who will be five years old on or before Oct. 1, 2014 should register for kindergarten classes. Students who are currently enrolled in the four-year-old preschool program should also register for kindergarten.

  • Marion County schools are closed today

    Marion County Schools are closed today, Friday, Jan. 17.

    Marion County Superintendent Taylora Schlosser announced that schools are closed due to isolated road conditions and anticipated weather during the day.

    The Marion County Public Library will have delayed opening today due to poor driving and parking conditions. The library will open at noon today.

  • Preschool, kindergarten registration is Jan. 24

     Marion County Public Schools kindergarten and preschool registration will be held at all elementary schools from noon to 6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 24.

    If school is canceled on this day, registration will be moved to Friday, Jan. 31.

  • University announces academic honors list

    Campbellsville University Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Frank Cheatham has announced the academic honors’ list for the fall 2013 semester.
    The academic honors’ list recognizes students who achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or above for the semester with a course load of at least 12 hours. The fall 2013 academic honors’ list includes a total of 607 students, with 229 named to the president’s list for achieving a 4.0 grade point average, and 378 named to the dean’s list for achieving a 3.5 to 3.99 GPA.

  • Students make the president’s, dean’s lists

    The following Mid-Continent University students earned president’s list and dean’s list in the ADVANTAGE program.
     • President’s list – Eric Bell and Dona Owens, both of Lebanon.
    • Dean’s list – Jamie Montgomery, Chantini Owens, Tameesha Porter, Dawn Scott, Mary Scott, and Danny Wright, all of Lebanon.
