  • MCHS starts 2014 with special ed staff overhaul

    The staff of Marion County High School’s Functional Mental Disability (FMD) classroom has been overhauled after parents complained to the administration.

  • No school Wednesday for Marion County schools

    Marion County Public Schools will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 8.

    According to Superintendent Taylora Schlosser, schools will be closed Wednesday because of utility concerns, safety with buses and continued freezing temperatures.

  • Local students receive degrees Dec. 13

    Campbellsville University graduated 196 students in two ceremonies Friday, Dec. 13 in Ransdell Chapel.
    The following students received degrees from Campbellsville University:
    Jolyn Renee Williamson of Lebanon received a associate of science in early childhood education.  
    Rebecca Ann Williams of Lebanon received a bachelor of science in criminal justice administration. Williams is a graduate of Marion County High School. She is the daughter of Charles and Alicia Williams of Lebanon and has one child, Peytan Wyble.
