  • ‘I just love what I do’

Not everyone can say they love their job.
Even fewer people can say their career is their calling.
But, Elma Simpson can say both.
She’s been working as a migrant advocate and educator in the Marion County Public School System for 14 years, and she truly loves working with children and families in the community. Her dedication and love for her job is why she was recently named the state’s “Recruiter of the Year” at the 2017 Migrant Fall Academy Awards banquet in Owensboro.
