Christy Fogle will be inducted into the Alpha Lambda Delta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College on March 25.
Fogle, undecided major, is the daughter of Donnie and Ruthie Hatter of Liberty, and is married to Michael Fogle of Loretto.
Established in 1918 by two-year college presidents, Phi Theta Kappa is the oldest and most prestigious honor society serving two-year colleges around the world.

The Marion County Board of Education voted 4 to 1 to use the first three days of Spring Break as makeup days during its regular monthly meeting Tuesday evening, Feb. 22.

Brian Mattingly, a native of Lebanon, was recently notified by the Kentucky State Board of Licensure for professional Engineers and Land Surveyors, that he had passed the principals and practice of engineering exam.
He is now a licensed professional engineer in the state of Kentucky. He is employed by American Engineers Inc. in Glasgow, where he lives with his wife, Tammy, and their daughter, Abby.
Mattingly is the son of James F. and Theresa Mattingly and the grandson of Rita Mattingly and the late Wm. D. Mattingly, all of Lebanon.

Seven students, two school employees and another driver (whose identity was unknown as of press time) were all taken to Spring View Hospital Monday morning after a traffic accident, but no one was injured.
