  • Bell Hollow Road resident gets diversion for criminal mischief, wanton endangerment

    William C. Anzelmo, 33, of 19 Bell Hollow Road in Lebanon received five years of pretrial diversion in Marion Circuit Court recently for first-degree criminal mischief (two counts), first-degree wanton endangerment (two counts) and tampering with physical evidence. He was ordered to pay $1,300 in restitution, a $65 fee and $175 court costs.
    Anzelmo was originally indicted for second-degree arson, but that charge was amended to first-degree criminal mischief.

  • Lebanon man indicted for fleeing from police

    Michaela J. Lewis, 26, of 2620 Miller Pike in Lebanon was indicted in Marion Circuit Court recently for first-degree fleeing or evading, DUI second offense with aggravator, failure of owner to maintain required insurance security, driving on a DUI suspended license first offense, reckless driving, no or expired registration plate, no or expired registration receipt, license to be in possession and improper turning, improperly on the left side of the road.

  • Gribbins gets six years on assault charge

    Christopher Gribbins has been sentenced to six years in prison for second-degree assault. Gribbins, 48, of 821 Dangerfield Road in Hodgenville entered an Alford plea in Marion Circuit Court recently in connection with the assault charge.

  • Police log Aug. 12 edition

    July 17 - Schyler P. Mattingly reported theft by unlawful taking under $500 occurred at 201 E. Mulberry Street in Lebanon. A Michael Kors wallet, valued at $80, and $80 in cash were reported stolen.
    - Carrie N. Gribbins reported theft by unlawful taking over $500 occurred at 201 E. Mulberry Street in Lebanon. An Apple iPhone 6 Plus, valued at $599, was reported stolen.
