  • Danville Highway resident gets probation for receiving stolen property

    Roy Thomas McElroy III, 34, of 6960 Danville Highway in Lebanon received 24 months of probation in Marion Circuit Court recently for receiving stolen property less than $500. This was amended from his original charge of receiving stolen property less than $10,000. He was ordered to pay $150 court costs.

  • Lebanon man gets five years for attempted rape, sodomy

    Christopher Reardon, 24, of 25 Parish Avenue in Lebanon was sentenced to five years in prison in Marion Circuit Court recently for second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, three counts of attempted third-degree rape, two counts of third-degree attempted sodomy and second-degree sexual abuse. Reardon also was ordered to register as a sex offender for 20 years.

  • Lebanon man indicted for assault at fairgrounds

    Calob S. Cox, 19, of 379 Linda Avenue in Lebanon was indicted for first-degree robbery in Marion Circuit Court recently.
    According to the indictment, on or about Feb. 3, Cox used or threatened the immediate use of physical force upon another with intent to accomplish a theft and he was armed with a deadly instrument; threatened the immediate use of a dangerous instrument upon a person who was not a participant in the crime; or aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
