  • Lebanon woman gets probation for abuse

    Lindsey Lacray Welch, 30, of 131 E. Chandler Street #1 in Lebanon received five years of probation on two counts of second-degree criminal abuse. This was amended from an original charge of first-degree criminal abuse.
    The indictment reads the victims were 12 years old or younger.
    She was ordered to pay $175 court costs and $300 fees and to complete a substance abuse program.

  • Marion County men indicted for theft of firearms

    Alvin D. Miller, 31, of 81 Spring Hill Drive in Lebanon was indicted in two separate indictments for two counts of theft by unlawful taking or disposition (firearm) and first-degree persistent felony offender in Marion Circuit Court recently.
    According to the indictment, on or about Nov. 1, 2014, Miller took or exercised control of a movable property (a firearm) of another, or he aided, abetted or counseled with another in said act.
    The indictment also reads that he was over 21 and had been convicted of at least two felonies after his 18th birthday.
