  • Lebanon man indicted for assault, alcohol intoxication

    Lowell T. Vinson, 49, of 318 W. Chandler Street in Lebanon was indicted for fourth-degree assault domestic third or subsequent offense within five years, alcohol intoxication in a public place first or second offense, and first-degree persistent felony offender.
    According to the indictment, on or about May 19, Vinson caused physical injury to another person and it was his third or subsequent fourth-degree assault within five years. The victim meets the definition of a family member or a member of an unmarried couple.

  • Former youth services director receives three-year diversion

    Charles E. Spalding Jr., 43, of 25 C. Ashbury Drive in Bardstown received three years of pretrial diversion for second-degree unlawful transaction with a minor. This was amended from an original charge of first-degree sexual abuse.

     

    As a term of his pretrial diversion, Spalding must serve a 30-day alternate sentence with work release, complete a counseling program approved by the Commonwealth’s Attorney and have no contact with children through his employment.

  • Lake Avenue man indicted for assault and concealed weapons charges

    Dartai Scott, 37, of 309 Lake Avenue in Lebanon was indicted in Marion Circuit Court recently for second-degree assault, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, first-degree promoting contraband, alcohol intoxication in a public place (first and second offense), and first-degree persistent felony offender.
