Names appearing in public records and documents published by The Enterprise will be published without exceptions.

Sept. 7
- Jessica Hargis reported second-degree burglary between Sept. 1 and 7 at 33 Parrish Street in Lebanon. A Toshiba laptop computer, an HP laptop computer and an LG cellular phone were reported stolen. The combined estimated value of the stolen items is $505.

Sept. 8
- Catherine M. Simpson of Hwy. 337 in Lebanon reported theft by unlawful taking under $500 at 2136 Campbellsville Highway in Lebanon. Merchandise valued at $45.09 was recovered and retained by the victim.

Sept. 10

Jackie Dakota Moore, 21, of 1364 St. Matthew Cemetery Road in Lebanon was sentenced to seven years in prison for two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment in Marion Circuit Court recently.
Moore was originally indicted for first-degree rape and first-degree sex abuse (two counts). The rape charge was dismissed, and the sex abuse charges were amended to wanton endangerment.

In other circuit court matters:

Preliminary statistics* indicate that 12 people died in 12 separate crashes on Kentucky’s roadways from Monday, Aug. 27 through Monday, Sept. 3, 2012.
Seven of the victims were traveling in motor vehicles and five were not wearing seat belts. One single fatality crash occurred in each of the following counties: Fayette, Floyd, Hardin, Jefferson, Laurel, Madison and Metcalfe. The crash in Laurel County involved the use of alcohol.
