Angela Hunt, 36, of 1440 Riley Road in Gravel Switch was sentenced to five years of probation in Marion Circuit Court recently for fraudulent use of credit card over $500 and under $10,000 (four counts) and second-degree forgery (two counts). She was ordered to serve 60 days in jail and to pay $1,483.76 in restitution to Lisa Lanham.

In other court news:
- Martin Vittorio, 43, of Marion Adjustment Center was sentenced to one year in prison for third-degree assault. He received credit for time previously served.

Gary Brown, 54, of 1421 Bardstown Road in Springfield, was indicted for seven counts of possessing, distributing or seeking to obtain or exchange child pornography.
In count 1, Brown was charged with knowingly offering to receive, exchange, buy, produce, display, distribute and reproduce visual depictions of a production that involved a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
Counts 2, 3 and 4 pertain to knowingly distributing child pornography.
Counts 5, 6 and 7 are for knowingly receiving child pornography.

John Wright, 46, of Marion Adjustment Center in St. Mary, pled guilty to second-degree escape in Marion Circuit Court recently.
He was sentenced to one year in prison.
James E. Cocanougher, 52, of 363 Linda Avenue in Lebanon, pled guilty to first and second-degree possession of a controlled substance.
He was sentenced to 24 months probation.

July 23 - Martha S. Pendleton reported third-degree criminal mischief occurred July 22 at 106 Hardin Place in Lebanon. An estimated $350 in damage was caused to the paint on the victim's 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier.

July 25 - Daniel S. Shuck of E. Main Street reported theft by unlawful taking (firearm) occurred on Shuck Avenue in Lebanon. A Taurus .44 Magnum with black hand and blued six-inch barrel valued at $453 was reported stolen. One hundred dollars was removed from the victim's purse.
